The 8th Annual Festival Chapin Los Angeles is the largest Guatemalan festival outside the country. It is announcing its 8th edition to celebrate Guatemalan culture through traditions, marimba music, folk groups, crafts, and Guatemalan gastronomy.
The festival will be held at Lafayette Park, 625 S. Lafayette Park Pl., Los Angeles, CA 90057, on August 24 and 25 from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm. Admission is free, and the event attracts a multicultural audience from Southern California. All ages are welcome.  Traditional food, drinks, and arts & crafts items are available for purchase.

Its mission is to provide resources to educational institutions in Guatemala to support the education, health, and well-being of low-income children in the country.”
