Live in the Lounge: A Musical Evening with the Von Chaps
June 4 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Join us for an intimate, eclectic, and delightful cabaret evening of timeless jazz, pop and Broadway tunes performed by the family musical group, The Von Chaps. Karen Benjamin, Alan Chapman, son Jake Chapman, and daughter Molly Chapman have performed worldwide, including most recently on a 19-concert tour throughout China.
You may know Alan Chapman as a radio host (Classical KUSC), preconcert speaker (LA Philharmonic, LA Master Chorale), and educator (Colburn Conservatory faculty), but he is also active as a pianist and award-winning songwriter.
Karen Benjamin is a singer, actress, and director with extensive musical theater credits, including 4-1/2 years in the Los Angeles company of Phantom of the Opera. She is also an Ebell member!
Jake Chapman is a vibraphonist, mallet percussionist, pianist, and composer whose online presence comprises 2 million followers across Instagram (@chappymilkshake), YouTube, and TikTok.
Molly Chapman is a singer, songwriter, and comedian. She has performed at many top Los Angeles music clubs and has created a number of music videos of her songs (which can be found on YouTube).
