A month-long holiday shopping experience, every Sunday in December!
This December, Greenway Arts Alliance wants to bring people together to spread peace, wonderment and cheer to the community at the end of this tough year. Each Sunday there’s a line-up of holiday surprises, discounts and giveaways, alongside 275 of LA’s
favorite creative artisans & vintage dealers, delicious food & beverage options and live music.
The admission price is $6 for anyone over the age of 12, but we’re offering opportunities for people to get in for free:
FIRST HOUR FREE ADMISSION
If you’re an L.A. early bird, come to the Melrose Trading Post for free during the first hour of operations. Starting in December, MTP’s hours are 10AM-5PM, so get to MTP between 10-11AM to receive a free admission hand stamp for all day re-entry.
FREE ADMISSION FOR DONATION – Mágico Toy Drive – November 26th through December 10th We’ve partnered with Mágico Toy Drive (run by Fairfax High School Alumna, Virginia Bulacio) as a collection location. Bring a new, unwrapped toy to the Melrose Trading Post, and you’ll get into the market for free all day long!
Experience an immersive outdoor holiday market like no other, including:
Free Professional Photo with Santa Claus from 12-3PM on December 3rd, 10th & 17th.
Artist Corie Mattie (AKA the L.A. Hope Dealer) will be live-painting a canvas Peace Mural from 11AM-12PM on December 3rd. The Peace Mural will be displayed all other Sundays in December for everyone to enjoy.

About the Melrose Trading Post:
The Melrose Trading Post is a program of Greenway Arts Alliance (GAA), a community-based nonprofit organization whose mission is to connect communities through art, culture, and local commerce.
The Melrose Trading Post is a pioneering arts-based marketplace held every Sunday at Fairfax High School in Los Angeles, CA with 275 local creative small business vendors, delicious food and local live music. MTP was founded in 1997 with a mission to champion small businesses, art, and community.
The market funds Greenway Arts Alliance’s arts education programming and provides
employment and leadership development opportunities for students at Fairfax High School.
