It’s time for our annual gala on June 15th, 2024 at the Ebell, and this year, we are very excited to honor George Takei and Vijay Gupta.

We will honor George Takei for his incredible rise from childhood, facing housing insecurity on L.A.’s Skid Row to becoming a beloved actor and activist to multiple generations. Takei serves as an inspiration to anyone overcoming life’s greatest challenges and proves the stars are always within reach.

Vijay Gupta is a violinist and social justice advocate. In 2007, at age 19, Gupta joined the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra, and served as a member of the First Violin section through 2018. He has appeared as a guest concertmaster with the Los Angeles Opera and the Philharmonic Orchestra of London, and is an active recitalist, soloist and chamber musician.

This will be an exciting evening for one of the best causes in the Country. Last year we gave away nearly $20 million in goods to our partners, we didn’t do it alone and thats why we need your support to continue this important work.
