Thursday Night Music at the Original Farmers Market

The highly anticipated Summer Music Series at The Original Farmers Market is back, promising an electrifying summer filled with live musical performances. Mark your calendars every Thursday from June 6th to August 29th, with a break on July 4th in observance of the holiday. Join us for an exciting musical journey, with classic tunes from the 1930s to the 1990s, spanning a variety of genres such as rock, pop & ethnic tunes, just in time to celebrate the Market’s 90th anniversary and that great music that is the soundtrack of 3rd & Fairfax!

This year’s series features a variety of standout performances from both longtime Market favorites and newcomers to the Plaza stage.

Highlights include Queen Legion, a live modern-day tribute to the music of Queen, that will be performing at the Market’s Pride event on June 13th (note – special 6:30 p.m. start time). Ricky Rocks, a dynamic DJ & Drummer, will take the stage on July 18th in conjunction with the Market’s first-ever Night Market event. Texas Blues Rock sensation Paul Val will deliver a captivating set on August 8th. Sangre Nueva, an energetic Salsa Band closes out the series on August 29th.

Other notable mentions include series opener, Dave Stuckey & The Hot House Gang, a hard-swinging jazz band with a lineup of classics from the 1930s, and Son Habana, a band that brings their roots of traditional Cuban music, fused with modern Latin music to the stage.

The music series is open to the public, with delicious food and refreshing beverages available from Market vendors. Don’t miss out on the excitement. Join us for a summer filled with music, community, and fun!
