City School West Adams will be hosting a giant yard sale in the parking lot of the Larchmont Traditional Medicine offices at 435 N. Larchmont on Sunday, November 11, 8 am – 3 pm. The event will include a bake sale, lemonade stand, and face painting. Stop by the site, north of Beverly Blvd, after you visit the Larchmont Farmer’s Market on Sunday.
City School West Adams is a public LAUSD charter school which is being brought to life through the hard work of parents and educators. The school will open in the fall of 2013 with Kindergarten, First and Second grades all studying in a Spanish language immersion program that uses 90% Spanish and 10% English in the early school years and graduating to 50-50% use by 5th grade. The school expects to grow, one grade level per year, until they have a robust K-5th grade school. Admission is based on a lottery system and the school is open to all residents of California.
