The Original Farmers Market: March Merchant of the Month

Sponsored Post:

While The Original Farmers Market at Third & Fairfax has always been the perfect grocery shopping destination, the new Merchant of the Month program is destined to become the talk of the neighborhood. All through 2019, a different grocer at the Market will be offering up a terrific special, including deals on everything from pastries and produce to meats and marinades, for shoppers who make use of the Market’s bountiful offerings. With the Market celebrating 85 years of business this summer, this new monthly program is the perfect way to get in on the celebration.

This month’s spotlight is on Marconda’s Meats, one of two butchers at the Market. Established in 1941, Marconda’s has been run by the DeRosa family for four generations and is one of the oldest meat markets in Los Angeles. Often you can even catch one of the DeRosa family members behind the counter!

Serving up quality products each and every day, the expert butchers are here to help you select the perfect cut of anything from natural antibiotic-free USDA prime beef, dry-aged steaks, lamb roasts, Niman Ranch pork, and more. Have a question about what to serve, how to serve it, and cooking tips and tricks? Any of the staff behind the counter can help you serve the perfect at home meal – whether that is a holiday get together or a simple weeknight meal.

Throughout March, shoppers who spend $40 or more at Marconda’s and mention this Merchant of The Month promotion will receive a FREE 12-pack of the famous Uncle Louie’s Meatballs, named after Lou DeRosa. These meatballs are the main ingredient for your classic spaghetti dinner, or will add a delicious addition to any saucy sub. This offer expires on March 31st, but stay tuned for a new Merchant of the Month in April!
