Here’s just a bit of real estate buzz to start off the new year.
Several real estate gossip sites have posted that Hollywood celebrity Alexandra Daddario and her husband, film producer Andrew Form, just sold their  Hancock Park mansion for $7,675,000. The couple purchased the 5 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom home for a discounted $7.3 million a little over a year ago. The couple reportedly purchased the 5,000 square foot home from television producer John Wells, who originally put it on the market for $7.9 million.
“Wells, 64, is a longtime real estate aficionado whose portfolio is frequently in flux,” reported Variety.com when the house was listed in 2021. The home is well known in the neighborhood as the former residence of local architect William Hefner and his late wife, acclaimed interior designer Kazuko Hoshino, the couple’s signature styles remain evident according to the report on Realty.com.
The talented design couple was also very generous with their time and talent for local non-profit Alexandria House. Heffner offered his considerable design expertise for the renovation of the Green House after it was damaged in a fire several years ago.
The Wells are also well known for their generosity to Alexandria House. The John and Marilyn Wells Foundation was the first to make a $1million dollar donation to the campaign to purchase the Kenmore Apartment building which will provide 40 some apartments for low income families working with Alexandria House.
