This morning we checked in with Nurse Vanessa Greene, with Prime Testing, who is on Larchmont Blvd. offering free, no-appointment PCR COVID-19 testing today from 9:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. Greene is set up on First Street, around the corner from the Chase Bank, and will be there all week, through Sunday.
Greene told us she’s averaging about 130 tests a day, a bit fewer than in the last couple of weeks, which can mean shorter lines at times. However, results are now coming back within 24 hours, though some people have reported getting them within 12 hours. Please note that to test with Greene, you will need a smartphone or device to register your information at the test site. Insurance is not required but if you have insurance, please come prepared with your policy number. The tests are free.
