Long time Hancock Park resident and top interior designer Timothy Corrigan has authored a beautiful book about decorating a French Chateau…actually his French Chateau. The book – ‘An Invitation to Chateau du Grand-Lucé: Decorating a Great French Country House’ – shares the story of Corrigan’s efforts to bring new life to a home that he purchased in the Loire Valley.
Not only is the book full of great design photos, the story is captivating. It’s not everyday that a Californian buys an enormous French Chateau set on 50 lush acres…with no electricity, a detached kitchen and original 18th century interiors and hardware. Sounds like a dream come true!
Last week LA Observed ran a nice little Q&A with Corrigan, profiling Corrigan’s LA influences upon the release of his book. Check out that story and more in the links below…
