Larchmont Charter School Celebrates 5th Annual World Fair

Larchmont Charter Elementary, Middle and High Schools celebrates the 5th Annual World Fair on Saturday, November 17th from 12pm-4pm. This school and neighborhood event was a huge success last year and a true celebration of the diverse cultures at Larchmont Charter School.

The event will take place at Larchmont Charter’s primary school located on the corner of Gregory and Vine just north of Melrose.

Last year over 15 countries were represented at the booths, which proudly displayed native foods, drinks, activities and entertainment. Be sure to mark your calendar for a day of fun-filled activities including games, prizes, a bouncy slide, cultural entertainment and yummy home-cooked food and crafts from over 18 countries. This family oriented event is open to the neighborhood.

Volunteers from the whole school give generously of their time and resources to host this very special day for the community. The ever-active parents of Larchmont Charter School host this event along with Head of School Dolores Patton, Middle School Head Rick Esquivel and Assistant Principal Myra Salinas.

“The World’s Fair celebrates our diverse student body and the rich cultural heritage of our families,“ said Head of School Dolores Patton. “This fun filled event brings the school and neighborhood together for a day of delicious food, games and entertainment in which everyone proudly participates.”
