Mid City West Community Council Now Accepting Grant Applications

 

The Mid City West Community Council has begun its annual grant cycle for non-profit organizations and public schools serving the Mid City West community.  If you know of an organization seeking funding for a project that could benefit the area, here are the details from MCWCC:

 

CALLING ALL NONPROFITS!

Mid City West Community Council is proud to announce the 2021 Neighborhood Purpose Grant cycle. 501(c)(3) nonprofits and public schools are encouraged to submit applications for projects that provide community benefit. Applicants may apply for awards of up to $5,000. Selected projects may range from seed funding to start a community garden, local beautification activities, or neighborhood resource fairs within Mid City West boundaries.

Deadline to submit completed applications is Friday, February 12, 2021. Selected grantee(s) will be notified in March and invited to attend the MCWCC General Board Meeting on March 9, 2021 at 6:30pm via Zoom.

Completed applications must include the following:

    • NPG Application, completed and signed
    • Project Budget, submitted on a separate sheet if more room is needed
    • MCW Application Addendum
    • Nonprofit applicants must submit organization’s IRS Letter of Determination
    • Public school applicants must also submit a letter on school letterhead signed by the Principal
