The weather should be better for house hunting over the weekend. Check out some listing we feature on our Buzz Open House Calendar.
If you missed it, the former mansion of boxing legend Muhammad Ali at 55 Fremont Place is open again this weekend. It’s listed for $13,500,000, down from $16.9 in 2022. The 7 bedroom, 7 bathroom home is over 10,000 square feet and is situated in a large corner lot in Fremont Place. It is one of the most historic homes in Fremont Place, the small gated neighborhood of 73 homes, developed in the early 1900s along the western extension of Wilshire Blvd. near Rossmore Avenue.
The historic mansion was built in 1915 for Martin Henry Mosier, and was designed by architect John C. Austin, the renowned architect of the Griffith Observatory, and Los Angeles City Hall. It’s a special property well-cared for by the current owners.
In case you were wondering, the charming English traditional at 100 S Lucerne we featured last weekend, is already sold with 11 offers!
