Slowly but surely, new businesses are moving on to Larchmont Blvd. People of Los Angeles, a new vintage clothing store, is planning to open at 129 N. Larchmont Blvd in March, according to owner Regan Robbins. A recent Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) grad, Robbins has been selling vintage clothing since 2013. She told the Buzz she is thrilled to open her first retail shop on Larchmont Blvd., which she discovered when she was working at LF Clothing.
“I fell in love with the street and decided I really wanted to be on Larchmont,” Regan told the Buzz.
The name of the store, People of Los Angeles, reflects Robbins love for the city’s diverse fashion scene and the residents who live here. She’s planning to feature a wide range of vintage clothing for women, children and men as well as furniture, art and home decor.
We got a chance to chat with Robbins last week when she was setting up clothing racks at her new space. Robbins told us she’s hoping to build on her years of experience managing several other vintage clothing shops in LA, and plans to have items of interests to a wide audience. The retail shop will compliment her current online sales operation.
