Skin Laundry is opening today, the first of the new tenants in the former Lipson Building. Specializing in laser facials, the company has added Larchmont to its list of locations around the city. The company will also be opening a clinic in Pasadena.
The staff kindly let us take a peek inside when we stopped by yesterday as they were putting the final touches on the space in preparation for today’s opening.
“We are very excited to open on Larchmont,” said Tory Groody, Director of Marketing. “The neighborhood is filled with our clients who we treat in our other location, so it’s a really nice fit and the foot traffic on the street is great!”

Groody gave us a quick tour and the scoop on the company’s offerings, which include three different types of laser facials, all performed by trained registered nurses designed to treat acne scars, rosacea, melasma, hyperpigmentation and fine lines and wrinkles. The company also sells a line of skin care products including cleansers, toners and serums. The prices start at $250 and go up to $750 for non-members; there’s a membership program for frequent customers. To open, they are offering a special first time facial for $100.
“We have a special offer for the first 200 clients who sign up. They will receive unlimited facials for $250 a month, which is a great deal since most “beauties” book their facials every 7-14 days,” explained Nancy Newsby, Clinic Manager, who is also a licensed, trained cosmetician and professional make up artist.
Skin Laundry will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m Monday – Saturday, also Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Masks are encouraged.
