ChristmasParade_0-page-0

The Hollywood Christmas Parade takes place tonight (Sunday). The Los Angeles Department of Transportation has closed Hollywood Boulevard from La Brea to Gower Avenues, as well as many side streets, starting on Saturday, November 30. These closures will continue through the end of the parade on the night of Sunday, December 1.

The 82nd Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade benefits the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. The event is produced by Associated Television International in collaboration with The City of Los Angeles. The event will kick off on Sunday, December 1, 2013 with a pre-parade concert at 5:00 p.m., followed by the parade at 6:00 p.m. This year’s Grand Marshall is Buzz Alderin.

The website Navigate Hollywood is a good resource for checking your options through Hollywood today. According to the site, all lanes of Hollywood Boulevard, between Highland Avenue and Orange Drive, will be closed. In addition, many other streets in Hollywood, including Sunset Boulevard and Vine Street, will be closed.

See link to Navigate Hollywood for complete closure information.

If you are going to the Parade, parking is available at 6464 Sunset Boulevard, The Arclight, Hollywood & Highland, and many additional parking lots.
