Happy Sunday! We hope you are enjoying a this beautiful morning in our neighborhoods. The forecast is for a warm, sunny week, which hopefully means lots of time outdoors on Larchmont Blvd. or walking in the neighborhood and appreciating the rich architectural heritage of our streets.

We are very pleased to partner with the Windsor Square Hancock Park Historical Society to publish its research on local homes. Thanks to the efforts of dozens of volunteers over the years, the Society has quite a treasure trove of historic research.
“We are so proud of our Historical Society Committee, which took the first steps in transcribing the many years of research done on homes by other past Historical Society members,” Richard Battaglia, WSHPHS President told the Buzz. “Every house tells a story, and the homes in Windsor Square and Hancock Park are no exception.”
In the early years of research on these houses, Society members hoped to publish a book, which they still hope to do in the future. Under Battaglia’s leadership, they have been transcribing the original research and posting then on their website and have agreed to allow us to publish the work, which helps create a dual archive that will be more accessible to everyone who loves to read about historic homes in Los Angeles.
