If you haven’t received a COVID-19 vaccine yet, head over to The Original Farmers Market at Third and Fairfax today until 4 p.m. The OFM is hosting a free COVID-19 vaccine clinic in partnership with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health and Rite-Aid.

The vaccine clinic is a community endeavor hosted by the family-owned Farmers Market to support the State of California’s push for vaccinating community members in advance of June 15, when the state-wide mask mandate will be lifted, according to the Farmers Market.  In particular, young people ages 12 through 15, now newly eligible, are encouraged to sign up to receive the vaccine to protect themselves and their families further before the State’s economic reopening. Parental consent is required for children under age 18.

And if you need an incentive other than being assured of staying healthy,  anyone who receives their COVID-19 vaccination at The Original Farmers Market will automatically be entered into a drawing for the following prizes:

  • One (1) $500 Original Farmers Market gift certificate, redeemable at any Farmers Market Merchant, along with one (1) free all-day parking pass.
  • Ten (10) $100 Original Farmers Market gift certificate, redeemable at any Farmers Market Merchant, along with one (1) free all-day parking pass.
  • The $1.5 million and $50,000 cash prizes offered by Governor Newsom and the State of California.

No purchase necessary. Drawing for Farmers Market gift certificates will take place on July 5; drawing dates and rules for the State of California prizes vary. For more information, visit https://covid19.ca.gov/vax-for-the-winIndividuals under 18 are also eligible to win the aforementioned prizes

Finally, there’s also a FREE all-day parking pass for The Original Farmers Market surface lots and a Farmers Market tote bag will be provided to all vaccine clinic participants.
