Voter Center Locations are Now Posted Online

LA County offers voters lots of locations where you can cast your ballot in person or drop off your paper ballot. All the blue points are locations that open October 30. Click the image to visit the county’s website for more information.

Voters in Los Angeles County have lots of ways to cast their ballot in person this November 3. If you like the thrill of voting in person, you can choose among dozens of local Vote Center locations and may start voting as early as October 24 in some places. Most Vote Centers will open October 30, giving voters five days to cast their ballot. The closest location to our Larchmont Buzz office on Larchmont Blvd. is Christ the King School, as shown on the map above, and it will open on October 30.  You can also drop off paper ballots, which arrived in the mail a few days ago, at the official Vote Centers.

For the primary, we voted at Recreation Center at Pan Pacific Park using the new ballot-marking equipment, and found it a very pleasant experience. We recommend voting early to avoid lines. But if you want to avoid the hassle all together, vote by mail and sign up for the state’s ballot tracker, a very cool tool to keep you posted on when your ballot is received and counted.

In addition to dropping off paper ballots at the Vote Centers, you can also drop your paper ballot at a ballot box at the following libraries:

  • Fairfax Branch Library: 161 S Gardner St
  • John C. Fremont Branch Library: 6121 Melrose Ave
  • Memorial Branch Library: 4625 W Olympic Blvd
  • Wilshire Branch Library: 149 N St. Andrews Place
  • Los Feliz Branch Library: 1874 Hillhurst Ave
  • Will & Ariel Durant Branch Library: 7140 Sunset Blvd

If you still have questions, check out the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk’s office Plan Your Vote tool, which that promises to send you election information. We signed up so we’ll keep you posted on the updates we get.
