Wilshire Park Elementary, the K-5 public school at 4063 Ingraham Ave that also fronts Wilshire Blvd at Norton, is hosting their 8th annual Fall Festival this Friday, November 1st from 1-5 pm. It’s free and open to the public – a great way to take toddlers on an autumn afternoon and check out a local neighborhood school.
Kat Becker, PTA President at Wilshire Park Elementary, told the Buzz that the PTA has been active since 2007, and funds raised from this annual event have gone toward student field trips and other school improvements and programs. The school welcomes involvement from the community: more information on the PTA can be found here.
