The Wilshire Sports Association, in Hancock Park since the 1950’s, and the Warriors Travel Baseball, have joined forces for even more neighborhood baseball: the Wilshire-Warriors PONY Baseball league.
The newly combined recreational baseball league will serve 5 – 14 year old boys and girls and will be based at both John Burroughs Middle School and Pan Pacific Park, providing many more fields for play and the potential for a game-packed season.
Registration is due to close Feb 1st, so sign up this week online at the Wilshire-Warrior website. The season runs from March to June, with several pre-season clinics featuring professional instruction for those who want to improve their pitching, hitting or fielding. Player evaluation will be held on Feb, 23rd from 8 am – 4 pm.
