Spend the afternoon touring three homes designed by two of Southern California’s most well known architects,  Roland Coate and Gordon Kaufmann, on the Windsor Square Hancock Park Historical Society‘s annual homes tour Saturday, November 5th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Author and Historical Society executive committee member, Bret Parsons, an expert on these two architects, will be on hand to answer questions and sign each of his wonderful books on Roland Coate and Gordon Kaufmann.

The tour will feature refreshments with food and bubbly Prosecco, as well as a silent auction. There will be some great items for the silent auction including a framed and numbered Walter Askin print, vintage cookie jars, cookbooks, and glassware, architectural books, Laker tickets, and decorative items from the fantastic Joel Chen Gallery…and more. Society President Richard Battaglia told the Buzz they are assembling several baskets of wine in addition to these fun auction items.

The tour is an annual opportunity peek inside some of the neighborhood’s most architecturally interesting and significant homes. Proceeds from the tour are used to support nonprofits and beautification efforts in the community. The entire tour is coordinated by volunteers and more volunteers are always appreciated.
