LAPD Olympic Division Captain’s Corner – January 17, 2012

Olympic Division has produced an updated Captain’s Corner…the regular communication between Captain Tina Nieto, Olympic Area Commanding Officer, and the community served by the officers of LAPD’s Olympic Division.

As those familiar with LAPD responsibilities for our neighborhood will know, the LAPD Olympic Division covers the following part of Larchmont Village/Windsor Square – Melrose and Western; south to Western and Wilshire; west to Irving and Wilshire; and north to Melrose and Gower.

In this video, Captain Nieto addresses the increase in property crime – specifically Grand Theft Auto and cars being broken into. She also reminds us that we can buy THE CLUB for a reduced price of $15 at the Olympic Division Station.

Please join us in welcoming Senior Lead Officer Joseph Pelayo back to the beat! Officer Pelayo was injured in the line of duty in early November and spent some time recovering towards the end of 2011. Officer Pelyao can be reached at the number below:
