Known for artisan pizza and exotic sausages, Apollonia’sPizza has landed in Miracle Mile on Wilshire, one block east of La Brea next to the Hancock Park Animal Hospital. We’re talking toppings and sausages made of rattlesnake, alligator and basil, or chicken and tequila. Food on the wild side – not your average pizzeria.

Apollonia’s is the work of Justin De Leon who has been in the business of making pizzas for 25 years. “At Apollonia’s Pizzeria we pride ourselves in presenting our customers with locally grown ingredients garnered from the community farmer’s markets, neighborhood bakeries, and resident meat distributors,” commented De Leon.

The new neighborhood spot will host a Grand Opening at 11 am on Saturday, July 28th. Stop in and see the giant 6 x 29 foot mural by renowned Chicano artist GRONK, and put some alligator in your engine.
