In what promises to be a delight for fans of the Barefoot Contessa, Ina Garten will be interviewed on stage at the Ebell Theater November 15th by actress Jennifer Garner (Alias, Catch Me if You Can) who is a fan of the cookbook author and Food Network star.
Vroman’s Bookstore in Pasadena is hosting the event, and tickets at $42 + tax include an autographed copy of Garten’s latest book, “Barefoot Contessa Foolproof: Recipes You Can Trust” which is hot off the press. Tickets can be purchased online here from Vroman’s Bookstore.
Garten is a well-loved culinary icon who found her fame via an unexpected route. She was working in Washington for the White House Office of Management and Budget when she saw an ad for a specialty food store available in the Hamptons, went to visit it and fell in love. She became a shop keeper, cook and eventually the food guru she is today with a weekly show on the Food Network, and eight published books under her belt.
