Uncool Burgers Closed for Now

Uncool Burgers is closed for now, but owner Josh Pourgol is planning to re-open when outdoor dining is permitted again.

We heard some buzz that Uncool Burgers had closed, possibly for good. But it turns out it’s only temporary.

“We are definitely reopening,” “owner Josh Pourgol told the Buzz. “But it’s very difficult to operate without any outdoor seating. We’re just waiting for the outdoor dining ban to be lifted, and we’ll be back.”

Pourgol’s other Larchmont restaurant, Tacos Tu Madre, is open and doing well, Pourgol said, thanks to a much greater demand for delivery.

Closing outdoor dining has had a devastating on Larchmont restaurants, just when they were starting to see their businesses rebound a bit. We noticed that Le Pain Quotidien has also reduced its hours. For now, it’s open Wednesday through Sunday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

We are checking with other eateries on the street and will continue to keep you posted about other changes we learn about.
