
Brookside residents are invited to attend the homeowner’s association meeting tonight at 6:30 pm at Memorial Branch Library.
Agenda items include:
- an update by Senior Lead Officer Hebel Rodriguez on crime in the area
- a presentation on the $107 million modernization plan for John Burroughs Middle School which was recently recognized as a California Gold Ribbon SchoolÂ
- a presentation by Ken Bernstein, Principal City Planner from the Los Angeles City Planning Department on the current ICO, Â Historic Preservation Overlay Zones (HPOZs) and the new R1 Zoning rules
All residents are invited to attend and encouraged to get involved in various committees organizing events in the neighborhood including the annual block party on Sunday June 25th, 2017.  This year’s block party will take place in the 800 block of Muirfield.
