The Ebell of Los Angeles is opening its doors to the general public to celebrate its 2021 Opening Day on October 2, 2021 at 12:00 p.m.
Actor, singer, activist, and Ebell member Sheryl Lee Ralph will do a live exclusive preview of her brand new one-woman show: Journey to Center Stage. This Saturday-only performance will be held at the historic Ebell Theatre, attached to the clubhouse.
Sheryl Lee Ralph, a Tony Award nominee for Best Actress in a Musical ,for Broadway’s Dream Girls, is an accomplished actor, singer and AIDS activist. She has appeared at the Ebell Theatre in the past with her Divas Simply Singing philanthropic performances.
The Opening Day event, a fall tradition, spotlights influential women. Past headliners have included dancer, choreographer, and entertainer Debbie Allen, and athlete Diana Nyad.

Complimentary refreshments will be served at an 11 a.m. reception. The performance begins at 12 p.m., followed by a Q&A.
We welcome all vaccinated guests who have submitted proof of vaccination with ticket purchase. All are welcome and Ebell membership is not required to attend.
