There’s nothing quite like walking down Larchmont Blvd in the early evening during the holiday season with the windows aglow. There is a small town warmth – in the air, the light, the people – that belies the fact that we live in the midst of one of the largest metropolises in the country.
Buzz photographer Alexandra Cooper found and framed some of the finery – isolating individual storefronts to allow each to shine on its own. Take a cyber stroll along the avenue below to enjoy some of these sights. This year the Larchmont Village Business Improvement District (BID) is sponsoring a holiday window decorating contest, with the winner receiving $500 cash, courtesy of the BID and the LADWP; plus, advertisement space in both the Larchmont Buzz and Larchmont Chronicle.
