Residents of Larchmont Village are planning a neighborhood block party this Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. on Bronson Avenue.
“We’ve got a lot happening,” Claire Kosloff, a member of the organizing committee told the Buzz. “Holey Grail Donuts and Salt & Straw will be there, and we’ll have BBQ and Taco trucks. We are also having live music, water play for kids, lots of crafts and family activities, live music including student bands from Larchmont Charter.”
Kosloff said the organizers are thrilled to have the support of many local Larchmont businesses as sponsors including Hancock Homes, the Larchmont Village Neighborhood Association, CD13 Councilmember Hugo Soto-Martinez’s office, SSA Security, Catherine Gellert. In addition, the following have made donations or donated raffle prizes: Dr. Arthur Kezian DDS, Pedalheads bike camp, Tailwaggers, Dr. Luis Martines DDS MSD (Larchmont Village Orthodontics), Align Physical Therapy, Leroy & Friends Pet Care, Fit4Mom, Paramount Studios, and more.
The committee has organized a GoFundMe campaign for anyone who wants to volunteer or donate, all proceeds will be donated to Alexandria House, a transitional shelter for women, who will be on hand for the party.
