The Wilshire Girls Softball season begins this weekend with evaluations of the girls, Sunday Feb 2nd at Lemon Grove Park, 9am – 1 pm. It’s last call to get your girl on the roster: sign up online.
Last Sunday over 65 girls in Wilshire Softball participated in a full day of offensive, defensive and position specific drills, including a special demonstration and exhibition by the UCLA Women’s Team in Easton Stadium over lunch. The day culminated with the launch of the UCLA-Wilshire Big Sister Program, that paired each Wilshire girl with a UCLA player to communicate with over the course of the spring season.
