The popular summer tradition TARFEST, the premiere arts and culture event in Los Angeles and the Miracle Mile District produced by LAUNCH LA, returns to the beautiful La Brea Tar Pits in the Miracle Mile this September 26.
In order to keep TARFEST free, LAUNCH LA will host a fundraising event on Friday, July 24th, 2015 from 6-9pm at TROIKA (101 S. La Brea Ave, Los Angeles 90036). The event will include a Silent Auction of limited edition prints and original artwork from LAUNCH LA and KP Projects/MKG artists, Gift Certificates, Limited Edition art books and hand-picked items from amazing local businesses. James Panozzo, Executive Director of LAUNCH LA, said: “We are thankful for all of the of the local support for our free music and arts festival, however increasing costs necessary to keep the festival free require that we ask for additional support form the art and culture loving public. please attend out fundraiser and meet the artists that we work with and others that support us”.
