Wilshire Rotary is having a HUGE “Garage” Sale this Saturday, March 16th from 8:30am to 6:00pm on the empty lot at 568 North Larchmont Boulevard (two blocks south of Melrose).
Rotarians have collected lots of fabulous treasures including: furniture, collectibles, clothes, shoes, toys, electronics, kitchen items, tools, books, compact discs, outdoor furniture (and a fountain!), office furniture, solid oak wine casks, exercise equipment, and lots of other special items.
All proceeds go to Wilshire Rotary so they can serve others. Locally, their service projects include distributing dictionaries to local public school 3rd graders; assistance to Meals on Wheels to deliver meals to seniors; volunteering at local soup kitchens and more. They partner internationally on water purification and sanitation projects; helping to provide basic eye care for children in Central America; and wheel chair distribution for those in need. So you can see that your Garage Sale purchases will go towards some great causes.
