  1. A tree question for Ms. Darakjy:

Our neighborhood planted and maintains a California Live Oak in the island at the corner of Wilton Place/Wilton Drive/Second Street. it was planted in January 2011 and has never been pruned. I was wondering if you ever noticed it, and/or if you know if a 10 year old California live oak should be pruned at some point (or maybe should have already been pruned). If you have time, could you let us know? Thanks.
