Lauren Beale covers the celebrity beat for the Los Angeles Times and writes the Hot Property column that appears in the Business section of the paper. Yesterday she posted a video profiling the sale of the Hunt Family home in Hancock Park. It’s an interesting conversation between Beale and Max Nelson, of Deasy/Penner & Partners talking about the home, the limited supply in the neighborhood and the strong demand that exists for premium properties. The Hancock Park related conversation goes from the beginning of the video to about 3:45.
Patricia Heaton and David Hunt put their 8,400 square foot home on the market for $8.295 million about a month ago and had an offer within 3 weeks. According to an Architectural Digest profile of the home in 2009, construction on the home began in the early 1920s and was designed by architect Elmer Grey.
