Finishing Touches on “The Sevens” Townhome Project at Wilshire and Rimpau

The Sevens townhome project at Wilshire and Rimpau Blvds. is almost done.

You may have noticed there’s scaffolding across the townhouses on Wilshire Blvd at the corner of Wilshire and Rimpau Blvds., known as “The Sevens.” Just when it was reported the project was about to open, there seems to be more construction.

“We are getting to the end,” Guy Penini, developer of the project, told the Buzz yesterday. “We are just doing the last little bits of work to the facade and it was easier to put up scaffolding than try to place equipment on Wilshire Blvd.”

The project has been a long time in the making (we first reported about it in 2014),  due to numerous delays and complications with infrastructure on the site.

Penini said he expects the scaffolding to come down by the end of this week or next, and that his realtor, Diana Knox of Pacific Union, is planning some private showings later this week. Knox plans to open the project more widely in the next several weeks, in response to significant interest expressed by potential buyers.
