David Schwimmer has put his Hancock Park home on the market for $10.7 Million, according to the WSJ.
The 9 bedroom Mediterranean home was renovated in advance of the Assistance League’s Design House home tour in 1999. Â The owners renovated the approximately 11,700 square foot home and then about 30 designers decorated – room-by-room. Â Many of our readers may remember touring the home at the time. Â I was one of the lucky ones and the overwhelming memory was that it was impeccably done and seemed to go on forever. Nine bedrooms will do that to you.
Schwimmer has lived there since 2001.
The home was originally built in 1926 by Frederick Hastings Rindge, for his son, Samuel. Rindge was a businessman who moved to California from Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1887. In 1892, Rindge purchased the Malibu Rancho – 24 miles of beachfront property. Â The family had other city homes in the Hancock Park area.
