The Japan Foundation, Los Angeles (JFLA) is a cultural exchange institution designed to promote international awareness and mutual understanding between Japan and the people of Los Angeles. JFLA recently relocated to the Wilshire Courtyard on the Miracle Mile (across the street from Marie Calendars and The Counter), making the wide range of programs they provide relating to Japanese Arts and Culture most convenient for residents of the Greater Wilshire area.

- Thursday, January 24th at 7:00pm – Restoration of Fukushima ~ In this seminar, a researcher of Fukushima Future Center for Regional Revitalization will provide you with the latest information and future prospect of Fukushima, as well as an account of the daily life in Fukushima. RSVP requested.
- Wednesday, February 13th at 7:00pm – Japanema: Japanese Cinema Night Screening  ~ JFLA provides free, high-quality Japanese films one night a month. RSVP requested. Films are in Japanese with English subtitles.Â
