Local bicycle rider and photographer/videographer captured a late night motorcyclist popping wheelies on Larchmont Boulevard, just north of Beverly Boulevard. Things did not go well for the rider or his bike.
The rider obviously thought he would take advantage of a quiet Larchmont Boulevard on April 19, just after midnight. The video shows the rider heading north on Larchmont where he seems to be in control. Things change when he heads back south, wiping out coming back south on Larchmont just north of Kasimoff Pianos and sliding for quite a long way until his Suzuki sport bike comes to rest near Chan Dara in the middle of Larchmont Boulevard. The rider does appear to be OK – he’s wearing protective leather gear and walks to check out his bike. His bike doesn’t appear to have faired as well.
