Miracle Mile Farmers Market a Big Hit!

California Certified Farmers Market unveiled a new market location this week – along the Miracle Mile at Wilshire Courtyard. The opening day crowds were strong all day long, making the market look like a sure winner.

This farmers market is set up on the courtyard patios in front of 5750 and 5700 Wilshire. The welcoming stalls – full of bountiful summer produce, seeds and nuts, organic honey, jewelery and other fun things –  are convenient for locals from the surrounding Mid-Wilshire neighborhood and nearby Carthay Circle. And of course, the throngs of workers who spend their days inside the adjacent buildings were especially happy to see the healthy options… and even some not so healthy ones (did anyone try the empanadas?).

All involved seemed very satisfied…vendors, building management, workers and locals. The market will be a regular part of the community each Wednesday from 11am-3pm. We’ll put it on our calendar – it’s so great to see healthy options like this be successful in our local community.
