Nightfall Over Los Angeles

Nightfall by Colin Rich
“Nightfall” by Colin Rich

Los Angeles photographer Colin Rich and his camera have obviously spent many an hour over the past year watching the sun set and the moon rise over the busy lives of millions of Angelenos who light up our fair city. The results culminate in a visually stunning and hyper-edited three minute piece of time-lapse film titled NightFall.

The kinetic energy of light and activity, both on land and in the sky, from humans and from the heavens, is like nothing you can experience in real time.  Take a look.
