Peek beyond the grand gates of the Paramount Studios lot on Melrose Ave at Windsor after dark and you’ll see a dazzling display of lights. The studio has drenched its ‘paseo’ in massive amounts of white light that appear like geysers of white hot radiance shooting up from the ground. It’s quite a sight.
Unfortunately, the luminous extravaganza is not open to the public. According to Andrea Ceragioli, Director of Communications for Paramount Pictures, the lot can’t be open to the general public for security reasons. So unless you’re invited to a screening, (which is possible – talk to your neighborhood association about getting on the Paramount invite list if you live nearby)  you’ll have to be content with just peering through the gates at all that shimmering magic. ‘Tis the season.
