Accident on Larchmont Blvd. Early Friday Morning

A woman crashed into a traffic bollard on Larchmont Blvd. early Friday morning.

A woman was hospitalized after her car crashed into a traffic bollard on Larchmont Blvd., in front of Burger Lounge, around 2:30 on Friday morning. Thanks to the efforts of an officer with SSA Security, who was patrolling in the street, the woman was able to get out of her car before it burst into flames.

LAFD responded to the fire, spraying foam onto the street, which was caught on camera by an early-rising neighbor and posted on social media. When we got over to scene late Friday morning, the only remaining evidence of the accident was the temporary barricade placed where the traffic bollard had been. Fortunately, no one else was injured and the bike corral was not damaged.
