There have been a number of home burglaries reported in the area in the last few weeks, and the LAPD encourages residents to be on alert, lock windows and doors, and to call 911 if you note any suspicious activity on your block.
On 11/26/12 at approximately 9 am on the corner of Wilton and Elmwood three thieves entered a home after knocking on the door and finding no response, then took the TV, silver and gold coins, and a diamond ring.
On 11/22/12 at approximately 1:45 pm in the 900 block of South Plymouth suspect(s) smashed rear door, entered home and removed victim’s property. A neighbor observed possible suspects described as M, Blacks 5’10”, 160 lbs., between 18-20 years of age. They were seen entering a blue, newer model (2011) Ford Taurus when they left the area.
Between 11/04-11/10/12 in the 1100 block of South Citrus Ave, suspect(s) pried open rear window and made themselves at home by sleeping in victim’s bed, eating victim’s food, and taking a shower. Suspect then fled taking only money from the home. No suspect(s) seen
