Credo Beauty, the clean beauty products retailer, is planning to open at 136 N. Larchmont next week. A spokesman for the company told the Buzz they had hoped to open earlier in January, but construction issues delayed their original plans. With a new opening date set for February 28, the staff is busy working to get the store ready for its Larchmont Blvd. debut.
Credo joins several other beauty retailers (Larchmont Beauty Supply, DMH Aesthetics, Blue Mercury, Skin Laundry) already on the street, and one more is coming with the opening of Thirteen Lune later this spring.
“What’s different about us is that while you will find clean beauty products in other shops on Larchmont; at Credo, you can shop with confidence that every product is clean, made sustainably with natural ingredients that are good for you and the planet,” Tara Merck, Associate Marketing Manager for the company, told the Buzz last week. “We also have products with bold colors designed to appeal to younger buyers, and we are committed to offering products in a wide range of price points so clean beauty products are accessible to everyone.”
While there’s no regulatory definition for “clean,” customers can check out Credo’s Clean Standard and learn more about how Credo curates the brands the company sells in its stores.
Larchmont will be the second LA location for Credo. It also has a store on West Third Street.
“We are very excited to be on Larchmont, with convenient parking near the store and close to several other shops with brands who are similarly aligned with our mission of sustainability, like Rothy’s, Kreation Juice, and Café Gratitude,” said Merck.
