For those needing to schedule a COVID-19 test this weekend, please note that because of the expected heatwave and the Labor Day holiday on Monday, some city and county test sites have modified their schedules.
First, according to the LA County COVID-19 website:
“All LA City-operated drive through testing sites will…be closed on Saturday, Sept. 5th and Monday, Sept. 7th due to the extreme heat and to ensure the safety of testing site staff and volunteers. LA City mobile testing sites will be in operation on Saturday, Sept. 5th at Liberty Park in Koreatown and the Downtown L.A. Medical Center. For more information, visit https://corona-virus.la/covid-19-testing.”
Also according to the LA County testing page, sites run by LA County will be open on Saturday and Sunday, but schedules for some have been modified for Monday.
