There’s a new retail pop-up shop on the Boulevard at 219 N. Larchmont. Larchmont Lane opened a few days ago at 219 N. Larchmont Blvd., offering an eclectic mix of items – everything from tripods and ring lights to kids’ toys, men’s and women’s clothing, purses, backpacks, diffusers and massagers.

Owner Ash Danialifar told the Buzz he’s trying to stock the store with items people in the neighborhood are looking for as he tests out various concepts through the holidays. He said he’s only been open a short time and he still hasn’t settled on a focus for the store. More inventory and fixtures are set to arrive soon, but the store is currently open.
A seasoned retailer with shops in Inglewood and Compton known as General Discount Store, Danailifar is trying something different in the Larchmont space. He and his business partners (GD Realty Group) also own the building, and he says he loves the neighborhood…which he knew nothing about until acquiring the building 18 months ago.
“We had a pop-up store (The Optimist) in the space, that sold very expensive men’s clothing, and they did quite well, but we are trying to do something different here that appeals to kids and parents. We are flexible, open to suggestions,” he added.
For now, the plan is to be open through the holidays offering a wide range of products. Store hours are 11- 6 p.m. daily.
