Larchmont Boulevard is transforming for the holidays – with freshly clipped ficus trees, cleaner sidewalks (thanks to a stepped up steam cleaning schedule) and new holiday street decorations.
This year, the Larchmont Village BID has organized merchants between 1st Street and Beverly Boulevard to be more creative than usual by challenging them to go all out decorating their storefronts this year. To help motivate the businesses along this section of  Larchmont Boulevard, the Larchmont Village BID will put some money behind the challenge…organizing the first Holiday Lighting and Storefront Decorating Contest.
Judging will take place from December 1-15, with a collection of community leaders choosing their three favorites storefronts on December 15. The winner will receive $500 cash, courtesy of the Larchmont Village BID and the LADWP; plus, advertisement space in both the Larchmont Buzz and Larchmont Chronicle.
