
Tuesday, October 30 at 11:59PM is the deadline to request a Vote by Mail (VBM) ballot according to Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk (RR/CC) Dean C. Logan.
The RR/CC has issued more than 2.6 million Vote by Mail ballots. Voters can request a Vote by Mail ballot by:
- Applying online at lavote.net
- Returning the VBM application on the back of the Sample Ballot
- Requesting a Vote by Mail ballot in person at the RR/CC headquarters: 12400 Imperial Highway, 3rd Floor (Room 3002), Norwalk CA 90650
The newly redesigned Vote by Mail materials are easier to read, easier to understand, easier to fill out and easier to return – and, no postage is required to return the ballot. Track the status of your ballot online at lavote.net.
There are 150 VBM drop-off locations spread throughout the County for voters to drop off their ballot in-person. Find your nearest VBM drop-off location.
Please note all VBM ballots postmarked by Election Day will be counted if received within three (3) days of that date by the by the Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk (E.C. § 3020).
