The City of Los Angeles Bureau of Street Services will be busy on La Brea this week. Work crews will be re-paving La Brea between Melrose and Romaine Tuesday – Friday. One lane will be open for traffic in the work areas during project hours, but you can expect delays in and around this stretch.
Perhaps you were caught up in the delays from a couple of weeks ago when they were re-paving La Brea between Beverly and Melrose? If you are travelling west or north through this area, we suggest you leave early or look for another route.
